Ear surgeries for improvement of hearing. Sinus surgeries with endoscopes have been regularly done. foreign bodies from airways, which is life threatening. Cancer in the head and neck region especially mouth and throat are being detected in early stages and appropriate treatments are executed. Disorders like snoring, nasal allergy, vertigo are effectively analysed with modern equipment.

The department also regularly, conducts CME programmes on various topics for the benefit of postgraduates and practicing ENT surgeons.

OPTHALMOLOGY

General ophthalmologist with special interest is in retina including laser photocoagulation for diabetes and other retinopathies. Can perform cataract surgery with IOL implant both by conventional method and by phaco-emulsification. Also trained in Lasik Refractive Surgery for myopia and hypermetropia.
